Frequent Q & A

1. Who takes responsibility for my child?

Oxford Education and Service is responsible for guardianship and to provide your child with our guardian service whether your son/daughter is in school or staying with a host family. You can contact our Director, Dr. Helen Wu, at any time. The guardian services cover student's term time but don't cover student’s Christmas, Easter and summer holiday period. During term time, the school has responsibility for day-to-day care. Host families take over responsibility for day-to-day care whilst your child is staying with them at times when the school is closed.

6.What’s your cancellation policy

The agreement lasts for one year, namely three terms, and will be automatically renewed with the validity till student goes into university. The first year’s agreement will come into effect upon your child’s arrival in the UK. Within the period of the first year’s agreement, the guardianship fee and registration fee cannot be refunded even if parents give written notice to withdraw the child from guardianship. If the guardianship is needed to terminate after the first year by parents, the parents should give a full term’s written notice to withdraw the child from guardianship. Any refunds due will be considered as long as the notice periods observed.
